2. What data we collect
Vera collects only what is necessary for the service to function:
- Account data: Email address, display name (required for registration)
- Voice messages: Audio recordings you send within the app — stored encrypted
- Usage data: App interactions for crash reporting and performance improvements
- Device data: Device type, OS version for compatibility purposes
We do not collect location data, contacts, or behavioral advertising data.
3. How we use your data
- Providing and improving the Vera service
- Sending you app-related notifications (with your permission)
- Detecting and preventing abuse
4. Data storage (Firebase / Google)
Vera uses Firebase (Google LLC) for authentication and data storage. Data may be stored on servers in the EU or USA. Google participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Firebase Privacy Policy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy
5. Data retention
Voice messages are retained until you delete them. Account data is deleted upon account deletion within 30 days. You can request full data deletion at any time.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. Contact us at hello@w-w-digital.com.
7. Children
Vera is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to this policy
We will notify users of material changes within the app. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.
