Pick what you're doing — café, run, concert, walk. Add a photo or a sentence if you like. A few seconds, done. It never feels like producing content.
A feed that stays calm
Only your friends, in chronological order. No ads, no recommendations, no "For you" tab. You scroll through, send a cheers, and put your phone back down.
Stats just for you
How often were you out, who did you spend time with lately, what does your week look like? Numbers you find interesting yourself — not for showing off.

Hosted in Frankfurt
Database, backend, images: everything runs in Google Cloud region europe-west3. No US servers for your core data.
Delete your account in one tap
Settings → Delete account → confirm. Profile data, posts, reactions, friendships — and every uploaded photo is permanently removed from our servers. No e-mail ping-pong.
Indie, not corporate
I build OutAndAbout on my own, under the name 2W Digital, from Stuttgart, Germany. No investors, no VC pressure. That means: a calm pace, an honest roadmap, and answers directly from me.

What does OutAndAbout cost?
The basic version is free. Premium is optional and unlocks photo uploads, extended stats and more challenges.
Do my friends need the app too?
Yes. Without friends in your network the app is empty — by design. Best move: download it and send the invite link straight to two close friends on WhatsApp. That way the start never feels empty.
Which devices is OutAndAbout available for?
OutAndAbout is free for iPhone on the App Store and for Android on Google Play. The basic version includes everything you need to get started.
Which permissions does the app require?
Location only when you check in with a place. Camera and photos only for photo posts and QR scans. Notifications are optional. Everything is opt-in.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Delete your account in the settings — all content including uploaded photos is removed with it. Within seconds.
